How long can a component cable from the zone 2 preout of one receiver to another avr in a different room be with out loosing any signal degradation.

Long. I've run them about 50' or more throughout my house when I was doing a lot of analog work. Just stay clear of electrical lines as they can have a significant impact on audio and video quality rather quickly.

I said component cables but I meant the red and white interconnects. I haven’t measured it exactly but it’s around 60 ft. I try to keep all my cables away from romex and power cables. My sub cable makes a 90 degree cross over one power cord but that’s probably the best cable to do so being that it’s quad shielded.

Those are generally called composite rather than component, and much of the info about the component rca cables still is valid.
