Zone 2 amp or new rec

I currently have a 7.1 system in my main LR. So I need an amp for zone 2 for my pool. Rec is a Denon 3808. All I am powering is two yamaha indoor outdoor speakers. In looking for an amp I noticed they cost a good bit more than I want to spend $250. The Onkyo 282 is 200. You can just about get a lower end rec for that much.
What if any are the advantages of using 3808 and amp as compared to a seperate Oknyo 505.
I have an IR repeater out by the pool to use the remote. This setup could work with either way amp or new rec.

Zone 2 amp

Look for an Audiosource or similar amp for about $100 to power the outdoor speakers. You will be able to control the source with your existing receiver and remote.
