YPAO and Subwoofer Dial Settings

Yamaha RX-V2400: Using the YPAO settings on full auto.

Where should I set my 3 dials on my subwoofer when running the YPAO test for volume, x-over and phase.

Currently I have the volume at half, the x-over at 80 and the phase at 0.

How is your sub wired? LFE or speaker level inputs? If LFE you either want to defeat the crossover on the sub (if you have the option) or turn it to the highest setting. Start at 0 with the phase and turn volume half way up, then run the test. Having said all of that, YPAO does a crappy job of setting the sub crossover distance and level. I always have to go back in and reset them manually.
