laws change seemingly w/o regard for the law

let's do what we can to reinforce the right to resale not lifetime lease without sublet. The computer industry began this slippery slope that brought us to this day of doubting property ownership. Software license agreements for designer Nike shoes??

I've had an issue with this sort of Digital Rights control for a while. Good to see it is being reviewed, but hopefully it comes out to the consumer's benefit. That isn't always the case. While I completely understand why big business wants to protect their profits, once an item is sold to a consumer, they shouldn't be able to claim rights to that product or what is done with it.
