I'm going to see Yes and Asia tomorrow night in a 800 seat room, HOLY COW!
Steve Howe is doing double duty, playing guitar for both bands. Is he insane? The guy must be 60 years old and gonna do a 3 hour stage show?
I can't wait! Yes music is truly art rock.

Beautiful dog Adam!

Last I heard, John Anderson was ill and will not be with the band. At one point Chris Squire was also in bad health but as far as I know he's in the lineup. I think Rick Wakeman will also participate. Alan White... on drums.

Yes, Jon is recovering from a lung problem but the fill in sounds very very much like him and I'm a snob. The show was postponed last year because Chris Squire had something wrong with his leg. He's got to still be one of the top 5 bass players in rock. Rick's son is actually playin keys now, supposedly excellent....a chip off the ol block. And Alan White will be home tonight as he lives in Seattle.
I love Yes and like Asia so I'm in for a great time tonight. I'm attending with 2 old high school buddies. We all went to see Yes in the early 80's after Owner of a loneley heart, came out. Wow, I'm old. But I'm gonna rock tonight!:cool:

When I was a freshman back in college, I got a job as a reporter for the school paper and one of the "duties" was to go to every concert that hit Tucson and Phoenix and give a report. Now concert organizers would send better than first row seats (you got to stand in front of the security line) and back stage passes. The first concert I reviewed (back some 20 years ago) was "Yes" and the were by far the most gracious and fun group to hang out with. Just very friendly and made you instantly feel like one of the guys within seconds of meeting you. I gad a great time meeting them and they threw one hell of a show.

I am also a huge fan of Asia but never got the chance to meet them.

Best concert I went to was Pink Floyd "the Division Bell" tour I didnt get to meet the band, but man oh man is that one concert that a person who attends never forgets.......unless they add certain "substances" than all bets are off. ;)

Have fun it sounds like a great concert. Last concert I went to was Elton John/Billy Joel two months ago where I got 8th row center for my GF and my mom (who is a huge fan of both).
