yamaha zone problem solved

did not realise you have to use rca cables to get volume to the zones every thing working well now.i just have to replace the bose center speaker as it stinks as center speaker. waxey

Yep, that's pretty much standard on the vast majority of receivers. They don't have additional DACs for zone 2 so all devices you'd like to output to zone 2 must be connected to the analog inputs.
