Sportfans,
I have been watching the automatic frequency equalization stuff for years. I have never upgraded from my DSP-A1 because none of the recievers out there would make adjustments to the sub woofer below 120 hz or so. I have not purchased one yet, just down loaded the manual.
So a very specific question to you guys that own a RX-V2700. Does the manual parametric equalization or YPAO work on the sub woofer. If it does, how low an adjustment can be made?
The manual at page 154 states the parametric is adjustable in 1/3 octive increments between 32 hz and 16 khz. I am trying to find out if this is true for the subwoofer.
Page 99 identifies that one of the adjustable chanels is for the subwoofer. Again how low is the lowest adjustment for the subwoofer.
The RX-V2700 manual is a little sparce. Although it provides examples of some of the main OSD screens, there are no examples of the OSD screens down a level or two.
Thanks in advance for all your help. this issue is really a big deal for me. I have a huge spike right at 58 hz, making the subwoofer rather "boomy."
