I fainally have my new HT setup and for the most part setup has gone great. Here is what I have
Sony PLV-Z700 projector
Yahama V465
samsung BD-1600, HDMI to reciever, works great
Wii
ASTC TV reciever for OTA TV

Both the OTA reciever and the Wii are connected by 5 cable componet cables, video red blue green and audio red and white. I can't figure out how to bet both video and audio, is there any way to do this with this reciever???
Neither has a optical or coaxial option for audio.

Thanks for any help that you can offer

Hi, Doug. Unfortunately, that receiver doesn't have the ability to assign audio and video inputs to various sources. To the best of my knowledge, you are limited to the input configurations on the back.

If you meant a Sanyo PLV-Z700 projector, it looks like that has two component video inputs. So, if you have those open, one work-around is to connect the video outputs from the OTA tuner and Wii directly to the projector, and connect the audio from them to the receiver.

Thanks for the quick reply Adam, kind of what I thought was going to be the answer. When I was finishing my basement I only ran 2 HDMI and one component cable to the projector and of course was stupid and did not use conduit so can't really run and more cables up there.
The Wii without sound may acutally be nice, I hate most of the nosie that thing makes anyway and I do know that here is now a TV reciever that does have HDMI output so I guess I will jut have to upgrade to that. I would say that we will use the room 98% of the time to watch movies anyway so it is not really a big deal.
