When I purchased this turntable on eBay I had thought that the ground wire
was included but when I received it, it had no ground wire. I tested the turntable without the ground and there is a subtle low hum or buzz when the turntable is on but the records did play. Is there any way to clean up the sound and rig a ground wire from this Yamaha turntable to the Phono Preamp (Behringer PP-400) post for the ground? I have a new Onkyo TX-SR507 Receiver that has an aux (no phono input) that I'm using for the turntable. I don't believe that the eBay seller who I purchased this from ever used the ground wire with this table quite possibly because she never had one (bought the turntable used herself and didn't use it often).

Where would I find any used Yamaha Turntable parts, ie: a ground wire for this unit (Yamaha TT-400U)?

Thank you for your assistance.

Are there no exposed scres on teh bottom of this table that issecured to a metal part of the chassis that you can attach some left over speaker wire too and run that to an exposed screw on your pre-amp? That is all you need as grounding mechanism.
