can someone tell me why the volume indicator will show up on the dvd screen but not on the sat screen. It did the first few days but now it is not any help would be awesome thanks...

Volume displayed on TV.

Do your DVD and satellite video both route through the receiver? Also, the receiver can not upscale or modify an HDMI signal which could be the video connection for your DVD player.

I am using component video out of the reciever to the projector and everything runs threw the yamaha...

any help would be great thanks...
