Hi Guys,
Maybe someone could tell me why my yamaha rx757 reciever does not sound nearly as good as my new Samsung 40" led TV. The speakers in the set sound excellent. Maybe it's my settings or the way it's wired. I currently have a fiber optic running from the fiber optic out on the Tv to the Fiber optic in on the reciever. I believe I have the yamaha set for 7.1
the confusing thing about all of this is my previous Yamaha was the model I purchased . before the RX757 sounded excellent and the surround sounded awesome no matter what you were watching. i'M Using the same speakers as I used on my older Yamaha but I just can't get them to sound life like unless I plug in a dvd.
any suggestions?
