I need help deciding which to purchase! The online price difference is $250.00 [EDITED] (i.e., the RX-V1500 is $250.00 more than the RX-V750). See the specifications below:

RX-V1500 Overview & RX-V1500 Manual

RX-V750 Overview & RX-V750 Manual

I will be using it for a 7.1 channel set-up in a room about 25' x 15'. Is the RX-V1500 worth the extra $250.00 [Edited]?

Compare Page 26 of V750
and Page 26 of the V1500

The V1500 YPAO does a lot more. It optimizes the Equalization to suit your particular room, the V750 only does level, not EQ

That alone is worth the extra money to me.

And the V1500 looks better too ;)

I just learned that the online dealer with the $95.00 price difference previously mentioned above will not qualify for Yamaha's manufacturers warranty. The online dealer that will qualify for the warranty, however, will sell the RX-V750 for a price very close to the other dealer; but for the RX-V1500, they want consierably more. The price difference between the RX-V750 and RX-V1500 with the authorized dealer is $250! At that difference, I'm leaning toward the 750.

1500 & loving it!

I have the 1500 and just love it. I believe you will get more out of the advanced YPAO on the 1500. Of course it all depends of your personal requirements.
