I bought this AV receiver on sale a few years back and it is in my personal opinion a very nice home theater AV receiver with plenty of HDMI inputs and 1 on the front panel. My question, is it possible to record audio sound to my Phillips CDR in which i have it connected to the CD on the back?. has anybody tried this on any home theater receivers?. I have a Onkyo TX-8050 net receiver. I have another CDR connected to that system. Just wondering if i can record audio from my Yamaha receiver. The Yamaha does have video in and out jacks but I haven't tested the output to my CDR to see if it would record audio.
