Two years ago (about) I picked up this receiver specifically because it could upconvert all of the inputs to HDMI. This allowed me to plug in my Wii (component) Xbox (composite) and cable box (HDMI) and then view them all on my TV with a single HDMI cable.
I don't know what could have possibly gone wrong, but that is no longer the case. I have Video Conv. set to On, but I simply can't get video to display on my TV now.
I plugged my Xbox into every composite-video input and tried, but there was no signal received on my TV. FINALLY, I plugged it into the AUX inputs on the front and voila!
So what gives? My HDMI cablebox and Xbox just won't put out video, otherwise! I get audio on the Xbox when plugged into the rear connections, but I get nothing from the Cablebox, period.
