yamaha rx-v650 vs pioneer

first of all i apologize for my poor english.
now lets go to business.

i'm debating between yamaha rx-v 650 and any type of pionner up to 400$.
i'll be using klipsch speakers rf-15.
some dealers told me that yamaha is great as far as home theater but not that good when it comes to stereo.

Those dealers don't know what they're talking about. Pioneer elite stuff is good. I would stay away from non elite stuff. Yamaha is also very good. Personally I like the yamaha.

GO for the Yamaha RX-650, better DACs, DSP, and Torodial Transformaer than the Pioneer.
