Yamaha RX-V473 set-up

I've conected RX-V473 receiver (hdmi out) to a Sony LCD TV (hdmi in). On TV i've set hdmi control to on. When i start the TV, automatically starts the receiver (same to off). The TV displays cable TV programs and sound is played via receiver. Is working fine.

Using BD scene (remote button), TV automatically goes on hdmi in , BD starts-disc is displayed on TV and sound via receiver. Is working fine.

Now is problem: When i press TV scene button (on remote/receiver), the LCD TV goes blank, it does not comute on cable program (remains setted to hdmi in). The only way is to select manualy input source from TV remote for cable tv watching.

How to set the receiver when i press TV remote button to force the LCD TV to change from hdmi out to cable programs?

Easy peasy....go through your usual routine to watch tv,
Then hold the tv scene button down till msg appears on screen

Edit.sorry ..i didnt read your post carefully..obviously you've already worked out the mystery of the scene buttons...
Being as, the pdf (read p.o.s)manual doesnt actually tell you how to set them
So this may not help..
