Hello,

I am thinking of buying the first home theater system for my house and I was looking at the Yamaha RX-V473 5.1-Channel Network AV Receiver.

I had a couple of questions regarding this -

1) Is this the same receiver as the Yamaha HTR-4065? The HTR-4065 is sold at Costco and I would prefer buying it from Costco just because of the customer service and the return policy.

2) I was thinking of pairing this receiver with the "Klipsch HD Theater 1000 5.1-channel Home Theater Speaker System". How will that work out with this receiver?

3) This might be a lame question but since I have never bought a receiver/good speaker set before...I am not very sure...Do the speakers come with the speaker wiring? ..Or does it need to be bought separately? I was on Amazon and when I looked at the speakers, I was also recommended to get 16-gauge speaker wire..so I was not sure if the speakers did not come with the wiring? If not, does the wiring need to be specially made at a home-audio store?

Thanks for your help.

I hear that it's the same unit with different names. Recently I bought RX-V473 and this is a very good av receiver for both music and movies. I have not use used Klipsch but they have good reviews. I'm using it with Jamo A 102 5.1 system. It has got a very good build quality and sounds great with HD content. This unit is sycronising all units (PS3, TV, Sky and etc) very well and it's very easy to manage all inputs by yamaha remote.
