Yamaha RX-V465: good deal?

Hi all--I am thinking of getting a Yamaha RX-465 for my bedroom. I'm using a Sony BDP-S350, and 5 Diva Swans (4.1/c3/2.1), and a Panasonic 10801 50" plasma.

I want to run my xbox 360, my TWC cable box and my blu-ray via HDMI.

I don't care about 7.1 (heck, it's a bedroom, and we don't want it to be ALL about HT). I do want to be able to decode the newest BD HD formats.

I found this online for 250.00 from 6th Ave name your price.

thoughts? Or should i wait for the new pioneer 819?

many thanks!

Been happy with mine. Just make sure you're able to carry audio via HDMI on *ALL* of your devices. The SPDIF coax & optical inputs are *NOT* assignable at *ALL* at least on this model and the RX-V565.

Other than that, sounds like the RX-V465 will fit your bill.

Cheers,
Kermee

ya unless you are running something greater then 5.1 the 465 looks pretty sweet. I am looking into the same model as well. It has the YPAO room calibration, 4in/1out HDMI and supports 1080p. Im deciding if the 565 would be better because it offers 1080p video up scaling(which I dont think the 465 does)

Thanks to all who replied. It's on the way. I do not need upscaling or legacy interconnects because all of my devices are HD (Xbox 360/TWC DVR/Sony BPD-S350). I figured the yamaha would be perfect for this purpose.

Anyone interested in my H/K AVR 520?

How is the quality? I need your review to justify my choice because I'm thinking of getting 465 too.
