Currently I have a Jamo S606 HCS3 system paired with the RX-V363, but I've been thinking of upgrading my sound system.

Does the old Yamaha amp provide enough watts for this Klipsch system? If and probably not, which amp would you fine mans suggest? Seems like not many amps offer >100W at 8Ω, what am I missing here?

(Sorry for the Finnish Klipsch link)

The sensitivity of the speakers as well as their impedance rating would be what to look at between the two speaker systems; the Klipsch should work fine in any case. Not a big fan of Klipsch myself, you sure that's an upgrade? Speakers are where the differences lay mainly, but not familiar with your Jamo system particularly otoh. Do you have a subwoofer now? Might think about adding that first (and the brand need not match between speakers/subs). I'd more think about your somewhat local (Norwegian) company Arendal myself.

Oh, as to the amp sections of avrs being generally around 100wpc, that's fairly typical, and suited for typical needs. If you really need significant amplifiers, then better just to get one with pre-outs (or get a pre-pro) and use such, even flagship avr amp sections are only a bit more powerful (generally 150wpc is about where the flagship avr ratings will be, which is less than a 2dB advantage in spl, which isn't much. External amps may have better low impedance capabilities, too.

I currently have a Klipsch R-120SW sub.
Any better speaker upgrade suggestions? Starting to think no need for a new system XD

Of course. I'll bet the group could come up with hundreds of suggestions. However, what is important in speakers is how you relate to them. If possible go do some listening. Then you can choose what appeals to you rather than what appeals to someone else.

If I made a change I'd probably go for something more significant myself, how much do you want to spend? In any case I'd take some time to go check out some more speakers too. Where are you?
