Yamaha RX-V2700 YPAO Question

Ran the YPAO auto config and the center and rear speakers came back as being wired backwards. Everything was wired correctly, but to test it out I switched the wires so that they now the red/black were crossed and the test ran successfully. I called the dealer and they said that sometimes the room acoustics can cause a misread by the receiver and that the receiver is fine. They suggested that I wire them back correctly, run the test, and let it save the failed settings. Anyone familiar with this problem? Is their suggestion the right one?

They are correct. Half of my speakers "say" they are wired wrong. If you know they are correct, ignore the error message.

On the 2700 you can tell the auto setup to ignore certain parameters. I set mine to ignore wiring and speaker size since it usually doesn't get those right. The rest of the measurements are generally spot on.
