I recently purchased a Yamaha RX-V2600 receiver. This is a totally awesome receiver and I am extremely satisfied with it. I do have one problem however which my dealer cannot resolve. This unit has onscree display for example, when the volume in increased up and down, the screeen will have the volume appear for a few seconds and show the levels while increasing or decreasing. This only occurs when I have for example a composite input (ipod docking station). With my other units HD-DVD player (uses HDMI cable) and Satellite Receiver (uses component cables), this volume control doesnt appear on screen. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
