Yamaha RX V2600 / How do I reset the Unit

Hi All,

Could anyone tell me how I could reset the Yahmaha RX V2600 Receiver to the factory defaults ?

If it works the same as the 1600, and I'm sure it does, set the master switch to OFF. Press and hold the Straight (Effect) button behind the front panel, then turn the master switch to On. This takes you to the advanced setup mode. Use the program selector knob to get to User preset, switch this to reset. Turn the unit off via the master switch. Next time you power the unit on, all the factory settings should be restored with the exception of system memory and auto setup settings. You can find this info in your manual on page 105 as well.

Hi,

I was able to reset to the factory defaults for settings, I also would like to know how do I delete/remove the AUTO Setup settings and mem. settings.
