Yamaha RX-V2500 PCM input on MD/TAPE?

Hi,

I just hooked up my 2500 and the Toslink optical cable from my computer works fine on the V-AUX input on the front. When I try to connect to the MD/TAPE input, I don't get a PCM indicator and of course, no sound.
I think I have all inputs set to AUTO detect.

Any help greatly appreciated.

From what I can see on the picture below the MD/Tape is an output not an input. Try it on one of the inputs and see if it works.
