Yamaha RX-V2500 | NTSC/PAL

I'm using an RX-V2500 on a PAL screen, and while I get a proper PAL picture through the receiver from DVD and TV broadcasts, the GUI parts are rendered in skewed grayscale due to it being in NTSC.

So, my question is this; Are any of you aware of a way to toggle between NTSC and PAL on the RXV-2500? (I noticed there are quite a few RXV-2500 users here)

Now, the problem isn't really more than a minor annoyance, but I figured I'd ask away anyway, even though it would highly suprise me if anyone knew the answer to this.

Thanks.

.....NU7, I'd have had a shot, if you'd been asking about cornbread preparation but someone will be along soon....welcome to Audioholics.com.....

Im also having this exact issue. Living in New Zealand we use PAL.

After trying 3 different cables and 3 different display devices (PC TV card, projector, old TV) I could not get the GUI to display in colour. Took the receiver back to the store where I bought it a week ago and it worked fine on their Plasma.

Came home and found the same problem. In frustration I started looking through the TV card software and realised I could switch it NTSC and it fixed the problem. Im guessing the old TV was PAL only, but I have no explanation why my projector didnt display anything at all.

So now if I wish to display the GUI I have to switch my PC software (dScaler) to NTSC, and then back to PAL for TV watching. Very annoying !

I did try setting to VCR (which I use as a TV tuner with remote before going into the PC and onto the projector) to NTSC so I could just keep the software on NTSC all the time but the signal stayed as PAL, not sure whats happening there.
