OK, I had many requests to verify operational things on the Yamaha RX-V2400 and thus I hooked my review sample back up to one of my systems to help out.

1) Please review our updated FAQ regarding 9.1 channel support, or lack thereof.
http://audioholics.com/FAQs/YamahaRXV-2400.html

2) The RX-2400 does have independent channel trim retention via the "Multi CH inputs" as stated originally in my review. You simply enter the "Multi CH input" mode via remote, vary the desired levels via the "level" button, with Parameter "Set" selected on the remote.

I hope this helps.

Sweet, thanks! So, if I have tos & multi hooked up, I would switch receiver to multi input for listening to DVD-audio, and switch back for DVD?
