Yamaha RX-V1900 zone 2 issue

Hello all, trying to get my outdoor speakers hooked up outside. Set the amp zone 2 to Sp1, hook the wires to presence/zone 2/zone 3 and I get nothing to play from them, turned zone 2 on, turned zone 2 volume up, nothing,also tried to hook it up to sp2, turn sp2 on in zone set, turned zone 3 on and still nothing, verified the kho-7's worked by attaching them to one of the main outputs. Am I missing a setting? Thanks

What sources where you trying to play? Many receivers will only play analog sources to the second zone. Try the tuner with your surround back/presence assigned to zone 2.

that was my problem, i wasnt setting the sorce, got my mp3 player to work, thanks for the reply
