Yamaha RX-V1500 Pre-Out question

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the internal amplifiers if outbord amplifiers are used via the pre-out ouptus?

No, they unfortunetly cannot be just simply shut off. If you are worried about the electric bill, it should not be an issue as the internal amp that is at idle doesn't use much beyond 20-30 watts max maybe even less.

There is no way to disable the internal amplifiers but if you use the pre-outs for every single channel with the speaker wires connected to the outboard amplifiers, for all intents and purposes the internal amps are off because no power will be drawn.
