Yamaha RX-V1300 v. Denon AVR-2803

<font color='#000000'>I'm looking to upgrade my home system and I've narrowed my choices to the following:Yamaha RX-V1300 v. Denon AVR-2803.  Any advice on which one and why?  Thanks.</font>

<font color='#000000'>I personally own the RX-V1300, I am also very pleased with its performance. The bass management can be better, but in your case I would wait and buy the new upcoming RX-V1400, which will revise this one and only fault. &nbsp;I do wish I had DTS96/24 for future, but considering the slow release of media, and copyprotection I don't think there will be many movies available soon. &nbsp;As for the performance, I give it 4.5 stars, due to the fact that it isn't the RX-Z1. &nbsp;As for the 2803 I really have no comments, never listened to it yet.

<font color='#000000'>If you live in Canada, I would stay clear of Denon because of the insane mark-up that they put on their products. Yamaha also has a slight &nbsp;edge over Denon in terms of customer service/satisfaction and reliabiltiy.</font>
