Hi everyone,
I finally got my system, not really all that, but is what I can afford for now
. I got a good deal on the RX-N600 (until the new “New Castle” receiver comes out
) for $450.00 and the Klipsh RSW10 for $375.00 with free shipping at ONECALL. Unfortunately the speakers were regular price. Anyways, I'm very pleased with the sound from the IQs and the picture of the JVC H-DILA. However I'm having some trouble with the network receiver part of my setup. I have researched this with no luck.
The internet radio works fine, however I cannot see any of the music on my PC. I see the PC but it shows o/o when I got into any of options of the menu of the OSD (this receiver does not have the GUI). I had done all my sharing in the media player 11 and I even shared "My Music" folder in windows. In the "media sharing" window, it sees the "unknown device" and the "share media to" box is checked. When I right click on the device the only choices are: Deny, Deny to All users, Remove from list, and Properties. When I go in properties, it shows the MAC address of the RX-N600. I also can ping the receiver with no problems. I AM PUZZLED!
If someone can shed some light on this one it will be greatly appreciated.
