YAMAHA RX-A3030 familiarity help.

It's has been awhile since my last post. How is everyone doing? I just got the Yamaha RX-A3030,and have a few questions. How can I save different YPAO SETUP INTO MEMORY 1,2 or 3 like On the RX-V3800. I only see PATTERN 1 and 2 and not sure if it correct. Second, I do have the external amp for my FRONTS, should I change anything in POWER AMP ASSIGN MODE? I currently have 3.1 system only. Third, is the YPAO ANGLE AND MULTI POSITION has any major effects on the sound quality? Fourth, should I left the Video processing in Through, Direct or Off. Thanks.

Please don't take this wrong way but did you consult the manual for these question? If so and you still didn't find the answer, fire an email off to Yamaha tech support. They'll be more than happy to help you out. BTW, congrats on getting this beast.

Yeah, i did read the manual but it doesn't say anything about Memory for each YPAO you set up since I have 2 Pairs of Fronts (the SOAVO-1 and the NS-1000M and wanted each YPAO set up for each of my FRONTS. It did have 6 or 8 Slots but that is for YPAO Multi-position. I hated how Yamaha skimped on printing the manual on Paper but instead gave you the Manual Disc. Thanks once again.

So far I have only been able to confirm that the 3030 can save multiple YPAO results, up to 3. See this post for things you may know know about the 3030 setup via its web based interface, The "Official" Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A1030, RX-A2030, RX-A3030 and CX-A5000/MX-A5000 Thread - Page 7 - AVS Forum

In that post, the author mentions, "You also have the option of copying any of the 3 YPAO results to the Manual preset as a starting point." Meaning the 3030 can definitely save 3 results. Now to figure out how...

The User Manual makes not mention of being able to save multiple YPAO results.

Even after tons of searching across many forums I was only able to find that different YPAO results can be stored in independent memory locations. Maybe, at the end of the YPAO run it will ask you where to save the results.
