Yamaha RX A2010 - Internal Error

Hi,

Can anyone with some experience with a Yamaha RX A2010 advise me on what "Internal Error" means. I bought the amp from a friend. It worked perfectly fine at his house. I plugged it in at home and the above error appeared. Is this software error or hardware error.

Try a hard factory reset if that don’t bring it back there’s a firmware error or the main processor could be fried . It’s in the manual on how to restore and reset the processor. It is a known issue to have the processor go south on the early RX-A models .
