Folks,

I see there is a difference in bench test between RX-A2040 & RX-A2050 when using 5 channels simultaneously :

Does it mean RX-A2050 has a power improvement, or RX-A2040 test result was wrong ?

I think Yamaha makes power output of RX-A20XX series the same, (ie : RX-A2040, RX-A2050,
RX-A2060, RX-A2070) ? Is this assumption right / wrong ?

Anyone knows bench test result of RX-A2060 ? I am about to use RX-A2060 with 5.1 set-up :

* Front : Monitor Audio Bronze 6 (rated 150W)
* Center : Monitor Bronze center (rated 120W)
* Rear : Monitor Audio Bronze 2 (rated 100W)
* Sub : 100 watts

Is RX-A2060 is good for above set up or must I use external Emotiva (2 ch) to feed the front Bronze 6 ?
(for I don't want to have clipping or distortion).

Really appreciate for all advice.

My first piece of advice to you is to ignore ACD tests as all one is really testing is the manufacturer's protection circuit sensitivity. Yamaha tends to be more conservative which makes them limit their power sooner than other brands. That being said, are you running all your speakers full range or are you setting them to small and sending all the bass to the sub?
