Hello Forum!

I want to buy a Yamaha A/V RX A-1030 receiver, and found a good price on the ebay website. There is a site called "Echo and Optics" who is offering it.

Do you have any experience on shipping through this website?

Never heard of them.

I was just thinking about you earlier today when I came across a good deal on MB Quart bookshelf speakers on a Trinidad and Tobago website. Did you ever decide on bookshelf speakers? I think you can probably find the matching center on eBay, the ql 304 ctr, if you're so inclined.

Yes,

I finally decided on the JBl Studio 530 bookshelf speakers.

The receiver you have your eye on is $18 cheaper here. But honestly, for about the same price, you ought to consider this Denon AVR-X4000 instead. Audyssey XT32 + Sub EQ HT is about the best automated room correction available (except for maybe Dirac -- unsure).

+1. The 1030 is a fine receiver, but Audyssey XT32 is much better than the YPAO in the 1030 IMO. I personally feel Anthem's ARC edges out Audyssey, but their receivers start at $1,199.
