Yamaha Receiver Manage/Editor

I'm using Yamaha's Receiver Manager software as a convenient means of making adjustments to my receiver as I fiddle along. In a perfect world, I would love it if people wrote software for my receiver with a more attractive GUI, but alas I haven't run into anything. Is anyone aware of instructions available for Yamaha's Receiver Manager software for the RX-V2500? I know there's a user guide for the RX-Z9 but I haven't found anything for the RX-V2500. My question for now is what are the yellow and red "P's" in the RcvMgr2500.v1.6.exe software?

Thanks!

Yamaha does not have any instructions for that software and you pretty much have to use it to learn it. The P's mean that the field will be saved in the system memory settings.

my brain is small

Ah, you over estimate my abilities my friend. There are many things I don't understand on the Receiver Manage Interface. E.G. What are the little yellow P's all over the place? What are Dual, Tri and Quad under DSP parameters? Why can I adjust speaker levels in 7 channel stereo but not the other DSP modes, etc., etc? Documentation on these matters would be useful for the little people like myself!

Does anyone know of a current location to find this software for my RX-V2500? I'd like to backup my settings with my computer. Thanks.
