Yamaha & polk setup

hello forum.

ht setup
I have a yamaha rx-v2500 {no bi-amp capability}
polk t90e floorstanding {front}
polk rm 7500 5.1 complete set

1. I faintly remember getting suggested to put 2 of my rm 7500 next to my front speakers and plug them into the presense jack since my sofa is against the wall since I don't have a back channel, is this correct/recommendable/ comparable substitute for back channel?

In the yamaha manual they should be positioned @ 6ft high at an angle, would it be much a crime just to have them level with the fronts?

Akind of the sofa position my surround channels won't be positioned as recommended either, I was going to simply have them on the sides of my sofa pointing toward me as my next best option, would you agree?

2. Each of the polk t90e's has 4 terminals with 2 plates that vertically bride the + or - terminals.

a. I imagine those plates mean my speakers are "bi-wired" simply akind of having those plates, though I will only have single set of wire connected to each, am I right?

b. If in the future I want to have more power and bi-amp I guess I would have to remove the plates, is this correct?

I assume if I get an external amp to give the speakers extra power I should get one that matches the RMS output of the front channel of my yamaha to avoid having too much power going to any single section of the t90e's thus having 2 fairly equal power sources for each speaker, is that right?

3. Can anyone recommend a decent wall mount kit for my rm-7500's?

When I got them @ sound advice I bought the polk stands but up until now I intend of having my surround & presense rm-7500's mounted high and angled. The rm-7500's are kinda heavy for surround speakers. The surrounds will have to angle at 90 degrees. I remember tring to use cheap alternatives for the polk stands, but the speakers were soo heavy none worked out.

4. I had some regular old phillips speaker wire 12 or 14 guage {can't remember} I got from walmart. Since I'm re-arranging things and hinding the wires I wonder if I should buy any different type of wire since they will be behind the wall. I was thinking about getting the wire form home depot, if they have, since they have to be pretty long and I can get if off the roll if they have it.

Unless there is a plausible reason to get anything else I am just going to buy some regular generic stuff, any comments?

Thanks for your time & suggestions!
