Yamaha NS-1000

<font color='#000000'>Have seen a pair of these speakers for sale. They are 25 years old and need some of the drive units replacing. Are these available? I direct same question to Yamaha but no reply (yet)</font>

<font color='#0000FF'>Yes they are and only from Yamaha Japan, I recently ordered a pair just to keep in stock and they cost me around $125 for the tweeter and $265 for the mids, you are better off getting a working condition NS-1000, quite a few of my friends have been very lucky in getting good condition NS-1000M from e-bay but do expect to pay a price of around 700+ for a mint NS-1000M.</font>

<font color='#000000'>I just has an email from Yamaha who tell me they are no longer supporting drive units for the NS1000. They have a few tweeters left but are already out of mid-range drivers and that is it.

I guess the s/h market for the NS-1000 will now collaps - oh dear and I just wanted to get a pair!</font>
