The old workhorse. Not as nice as, per say a Nakamichi deck, but still sounds VERY good, regardless.
Sexy lights. BTW, I only use "Relay" when I'm plugged straight into the computer.
Logic board. For analog technology, there is certainly a lot of stuff in here.
Each deck is the same in this regard. I wouldn't say it's underbuilt, just a little weird.
Everything is so nice and clean and laid out with space!!!
Deck logic controls & Dolby Noise reduction circuits (more like high-pass filter... lol)
Inside each well. It's surprisingly well driven, constant on speed and equally balanced when playing back or recording.
Between the bottom of the chassis, there is this plastic riser that the logic board actually mounts on. This is a bit strange to me, perhaps to isolate EMI/RFI somehow???
