Yamaha HTR5890 or Pioneer 1015TX

I know the bullet proof reliability of Yamaha and may hedge on that over the Pioneer. But in terms of sonics, NOT features, which is the better buy?

5890 because the Yamaha has a better amp section. I know a guy who's owned both and that's what he said. I believe it too, because I tried the 1014 and found it's amp section to be a little overrated.

I tried both and ended up buying the yamaha.
It sounded better to me, it was better built to me, it had a better feel to it.
I don't know if I could think of one thing where the 1015 beats the 5890
