Yamaha HTR 6030 Video Problems

My video was working fine before I moved. I can not get the DVD video or any other video signal using RCA or component cables.

It seems strange that all of the video ports are not working. Is it possible the video circuit or components failed (I don't think it was damaged during the move)? Any way I can test the receiver video?

Some things come to mind to check out:

• Have you made sure that all of the connections are tight and secure?
• Have you picked the correct video input on your TV/projector?
• Are you certain that this issue is with your receiver and not with your TV? You could connect one of the sources (e.g. DVD player) directly to the TV to check this.
• Are you running the same type of video connection into your receiver as out of it (such as composite in goes to composite out)? Your receiver can't convert from one type to another.
