Well I went to Best Buy to buy something, wasn't sure what I was going to get just that I was going to get something.
I saw the HTR-5850 for $230 Open Box with a $30 gift card because it was missing the manual. I got that thing home and started playing with it only to find the remote that was with it wasn't the right one. I could turn the volume up and down and do other basic functions, but it was only limited and I couldn't make any setting changes other than channel levels.
Needless to say I was annoyed, so I called Worst Buy and told them the deal and they told me they would look for the remote in "The Closet". I said I would call back in thirty minutes, but I had a splurge moment again. I decided to just pack my stuff and head back to good ol' Worst Buy.
I get there and find someone to help with the problem. Low and behold they found a remote, but it wasn't the right one. The one they had found had an LCD screen so I automatically assumed this had to go to the other Open Box Yammy, that according to them didn't have a remote at all. I was right and the best part is, because the other Yammy "didn't have a remote" it was priced accordingly and had a $70 gift card attached to it. (what will I ever do with a Best Buy gift card?
)
Well we got things sorted out so I could get the Yammy "that doesn't have a remote" but strangely has a remote.
Well I can honestly say I much happier with the performance from this Yammy than the other.
I will be righting a review soon with pictures and all the fixins.
