Hi, I purchased the Yamaha Receiver HTR-5850. I replaced my old Yamaha HTR-5240. With the new receiver, the subwoofer volume is lower than using the HTR-5240 ( I believe 10 db lower ). The old receiver did not have the speaker level-volume option, so I would like to know if the lower subwoofer volume is normal with this new receiver using the default setting ?.
To compensate the lower volume, I raised the subwoofer level to 5 db in the receiver and 5 db in the subwoofer main amplifier.
