what remote did thay give you?
You say sweet now, let me fill you in.

When I got the 5850 they gave me a remote to a lower model. I was unable to access the Set-up with the remote so I called Worst Buy and told them. They apparently can't order the correct remote anymore, and if they could they would certainly pass the charge on to me.

When I went in the first time I saw the 5890 alongside this one. It was $550 because it is out of date, and didn't have a remote. In their searching for the remote that belongs to the 5850 they found the one for the 5890, and they would have likely given that to me. That remote would have operated the 5850 very well, but I splurged again.

Now the HTR-5890 is sitting on my kitchen table being closely examined by a very critical person,....me. I have been looking at it for a while and all I can say is wow! It has a total of 90,000 uF in capacitance, a large iron core transformer, and a transistor set that makes me drool.

The heatsink design is one of the smartest I have seen in a while, I will describe that in a new thread, More to come!!
