yamaha ht340 or onkyo hts670s

I was contemplating buying one of these two home-theatre-in-box sets. Does anyone have any experience with either of these two systems. The onkyo is refurbished from the shoponkyo.com website and the yamaha is new. the price difference is only $10, the onkyo being more expensive. any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I dont know if there is a difference between refurbished and reconditioned, but the onkyo is reconditioned.

Is there any difference in the warranties? If the Onkyo is sold with a warranty as new it might be a good buy.

There is an option to buy the extended warranty for 2 years after the origional one for the onkyo. I looked through all the descriptions and couldn't find out the the base warranty though. I'll email the company to find out.
