Yamaha DVD-S2500

Does anyone outthere know what the replacement for the DVD-S2500 is going to be and when? I was told by a dealer the 2500 is discontinued

The 2500 is still on their site as the premier single disc player.
How well do you trust this dealer? I doubt it's discontinued.
My guess would be that Yamaha is waiting for version 1.3 of HDMI to be established before committing to a new player.

Yamaha DVD-S2500 replacement

I talked to yamaha and it is going to be droped from the line up. I did find a international web site indicating the replacment will ba a DVD-S2700
