Yamaha DVD-S1700?

I'm using my BDP1400 as a CD player and would like to get something with faster load time and the ability to play DVD-A & SACD. Would this be a good fit or should I look a something else?

They're cheap and play the formats you want, go for it. I have one and the load time is faster than an old Denon and another Yamaha DVD player. Not as fast as just about any dedicated CD player, but fast enough to not be annoying.
