Hi everyone, first post here, my current set up includes:
YAMAHA DVD S1700
YAMAHA RX V2600
Optoma H77
I have the same old scaling issues I heard of from other users and they are:
1. Connecting the the DVD directly to the projector I can't get the dvd's scaler to work, I choose 720p or higher but the projector keeps reporting "480\576p detected" and the DVD's display reports the same [480\576]. Going through the same process with Panasonic works fine.
2. Same goes with the RX v2600, the upscaling option doesn't even turn on.
3. Connecting the DVD to the Amp and then to the projector, same result, pasing the HDMI signal ends up with the same rhetoric answer from the projector "480\576" detected...And immediately as I disconnect the projector the DVD's happy display says 720P [or higher] and the HDMI audio starts working where it does not when the beamer's hooked.
I read many threads, Is there a final solution to all this?
