I biwired yesterday my Kappas with the Yamaha DSPA1 amplifier expecting improvement on the sound. I found that the highs have improved but the amplifier clips out a higher volume levels (not even very high) and I hear a distortition noise in the background at quiet passages in the music! Anybody has any idea what the problem could be? I wonder if the Yamaha has enough power to drive the Kappas and I am thinking of getting the Rotel 1095 instead.
