Well as you can see I am a newbie to this stuff. Now that I think I have the remote issue solved, but I still don't have a manual, how can I hook up a subwoofer to this amp? What is the best way?
Thanks

That is an old one, I am pretty sure you use the pre-out labeled "LOW PASS." for the sub.

I forget if it's the MONO or LOW PASS on mine, as I haven't had a subwoofer hooked up in a while:

I'd try the low pass first, then mono and see what makes better results.

Low pass is a regular fixed subwoofer output on Yamaha's older integrated home theater amplifiers. The Mono output is a monoraul mix, but full range.

should I then get a powered sub to use with this, as I assume the low-pass is going to be line-level outs?
Thanks Blong
