Yamaha DSP 3090 shuts off just as I start it up

I think it might be the end of my Yamaha 3090. I press the start button, it lights up, then when I hear the relay click it shuts down. Is there a simple fix? I don't want to send it in for repair because I would rather use the money for a denon 3311. Is it just best to throw it away?

Try disconnecting all the speakers. If the 3090 comes on and stays on, re-connect the speakers one at a time. If it shuts off when a particular speaker is connected, there’s your problem. Double check the speaker wire at both ends and make sure there are no loose strands that might be shorting out.
