yamaha CD s700

Any idea for this type of cd player(yamaha cd s700)? Is it good?
Does it need its own amplifier (yamaha model A700) to have a good quality sound? or will it produce same quality sound if I can connect it to my own receiver (denon 2311) ? need some info.

The s700 should work just fine with your denon receiver.I have a yamaha 697 cd player which I like. The s700 is a step up from the 697 it should be fine too.
